Shon R Page , AZ August 12, 2019 Appliance: Maytag Free Standing Gas Range MGR4411BDW Propane gas range igniters quit working. Used a fluke volt meter to troubleshoot the gas range. Upon inspection one of the igniter switches was bad and the spark module was also bad. Ordered replacement parts from Appliance Parts Pros and changed them out. I followed the replacement instruction video for the spark module kit, but the igniter switch I had to figure out since the video for it was a different style of switch. Underneath the switch there is a small slot to depress a metal tab that holds the electrical wires in place. I depressed all 4 metal tabs one at a time to remove all the wires. To install the new switch you simply have to match the wire to the location it was on the old switch and press it in until the metal tab clicks securing it in place. Afterwards I put the gas range back together and tested it. The replacement parts fixed both of the problems and gas range is working again.
