Description

This surface burner infinite switch is the behind-the-knob control for an electric cooktop or range. It regulates power to a single surface element so you can dial in and maintain the heat you need.

• Regulates on/off power cycling to a coil or radiant surface element for variable heat control
• Helps address issues such as a burner not heating, only heating on high, not turning off, or fluctuating temperature
• Installs behind the control panel; connects with spade terminals to line, load, and element leads
• Single-surface-element control for one burner position

• Disconnect power before servicing; this component carries high voltage
• Note wire positions or transfer one wire at a time from the old switch to the new switch
