Steve R Waldorf , MD December 09, 2016 Appliance: Model MAYTAG GEMINI MER6872BAB The double burner switch started popping loudly when cycling the power to the burner I followed the video suggestion for replacing a burner switch on a range that's 15 years old. The body of the switch was the same, but the connectors on the back were single lug plugs. Each lug was numbered so the wires were a simple swap except one. However, the instruction sheet provided the correct connector placement for that one lug. Easy job, just time consuming moving the range and removing/replacing the back panels.
