Walter P Eastham , MA December 02, 2021 Appliance: Model WPW10434452 Dual front burner (element) on my electric stove remained hot regardless of its switch position. I watched the video on how easy it was to replace the switch. So I figured I could at least attempt the repair myself. I shut off the stove's circuit breaker. Removed the back panel from the stove, labeled the 2 wire harnesses (left & right), unplugged, and removed the switch. All done with a single screwdriver. The switch was labeled with the part number which I ordered on the Appliance Parts Pros website. Part arrived in just a few days. I installed the new switch in reverse order and tried the burner - success. DIY saved me $159 service call plus the cost of the switch as well as a 6 week wait time for the appointment.
