Description

This siphon break kit prevents water from siphoning back out of the washing machine tub through the drain hose during the fill cycle. It acts as an air gap device installed on the drain line to ensure proper water levels are maintained. Replace this kit if your washer is not filling properly, takes too long to fill, or you notice water draining out as fast as it fills.

I needed a siphon valve for an old maytag washer

I bought a part and it worked perfectly. I was able to connect a flexible pipe to the siphon valve and set up a grey water system from our washing machine.
