Frank A Los Angeles , CA July 01, 2016 Appliance: Maytag Washer MHW6000XW2 I was getting f1 f6 codes on my waytag washer I replaced the pressure switch which was quite easy and simple. From the back of the washer, I removed three screws holding the top on the machine, I removed the top and the pressure switch was located on the side of the machine near the back. Disconnected the air hose, removed the electrical connection, then removed the switch. Replaced with the new switch, reconnected the air hose and the electrical, replaced the top and plugged the machine back into the electrical outlet. Ran a test of the machine before washing clothes.
