Whirlpool WPW10212596 Washer Water Inlet Valve OEM Part

Our original discussion with a parts rep. led us to change the control panel as we had tested the valves for continuity and had it. Changing the panel did not fix the problem. As we had power continuity, we then removed the hoses from the cold water valve and checked the flow. The wash fill side of the valve had only a trickle of water, so we ordered a new cold inlet valve and replaced it. Problem solved, washer working like it's new.

I ordered this new valve, and voila!!! No more using up all the hot water to wash everything. Now I can do all of my laundry with cold water, like I prefer to.

Called a repair man after not being able to determine the exact problem. Narrowed it down to valves, level switch or mother board. Repairman took money for parts and then said he couldn't find them. Went online and found this site, ordered parts Monday, had them by Thursday noon. Had machine running by 1.

Was going to replace the control board and customer support recommended replacement of fill valves (hot and cold). order the parts for about $100 and installed - all works fine now - no control board required.

I called appliance parts pros and told me to replace the water level pressure switch first. But that one didn’t fix the problem. Still giving me LF error code, so I replaced the water valve. That fixed the problem. I could have saved $50 if I didn’t replace the water level pressure switch, but that’s ok at least I didn’t need to pay somebody to put it in and it’s an easy fix. It took me like 10 minutes to remove and put the parts in. It just took me a long time to clean my tiles, where the washer sits. Thank you appliance parts pros.
