Ronald R Jupiter , FL March 15, 2018 Appliance: Maytag Electric Dryer MDE6200AYW Regular cycle did not work and air fluff didn't work Put both thermostats in as I did not know if the unit was cycling on high limit at times. Fixed both issues plus I used my lawn blower and blew all the lint out of dryer and short 3' hose. I also lubed rear drum bearings. Works like new. Tom L Covington , LA March 08, 2022 Appliance: Model MDE2600AYW-MAYTAG DRYER The dryer would heat up at first, then stop heating when this happened the dryer would never shut off I spoke to someone at AppliancePartsPros.com who ruled out the heater box, the thermal fuses, and the timer by the symptoms I had given her. I replaced both thermostats due to the age of the dryer (18 years). This did resolve the problem and the dryer works fine. Replacing the thermostats only took about 15 minutes but I took the dryer outside and did what I read in another review and blew it out with a leaf blower.
