Description

This mechanical timer is the cycle control for select top-load washers. It sequences power to the motor, drain pump, and inlet valve so the machine advances through fill, wash, rinse, drain, and spin as designed.

• Controls the timing and order of each wash cycle step
• Sends power to components at the correct times
• Advances the cycle via an internal cam and timer motor
• Common symptoms: won't start or won't advance, stops mid-cycle, runs too long, or the timer knob doesn't move

Install notes:

• Disconnect power before servicing
• Access the control console; remove the dial/knob and mounting screws to release the timer
• Photograph wiring and transfer leads one-for-one to the new timer
• Reinstall, reassemble the console, and test operation
