Description

This mechanical timer controls the sequence and duration of wash, rinse, and spin cycles in your washer. Replacing a worn timer restores consistent cycle advancement and proper power distribution to the motor, pump, and water inlet valves. What it does

• Coordinates and powers components through wash, rinse, and spin in the correct order and timing
• Advances automatically through the selected cycle after you set the knob
• Common symptoms of a failing timer: cycle won't advance or stops mid-cycle; timer knob doesn't move; intermittent agitation or spin

Install notes

• Disconnect power before servicing
• Open the control console; remove the old timer and note its orientation
• Transfer wire connectors to the new timer one at a time to maintain placement, then secure the timer
