Description

This mechanical dryer timer controls cycle selection and advancement. When the timer wears out, the dryer may not start, move through the cycle, or shut off as expected. Replacing it restores predictable cycle control.

• Selects the drying program and controls cycle length
• Advances the dial and switches internal contacts to power circuits as designed
• Common symptoms: cycle will not advance, dryer runs until manually stopped, will not start when the knob is turned, or stops mid-cycle
• Ticking, buzzing, or a stuck dial can indicate worn timer contacts

What's included: 1 timer assembly Install notes:

• Disconnect power; for gas models, also shut off the gas supply
• Access the control console; the timer mounts behind the cycle knob
• Transfer wires one at a time from the old timer to the new (take a photo for reference)
• Reinstall knob and panels, restore power, and test a short cycle
