Steven C Brighton , CO November 10, 2015 Appliance: Model KITCHEN AID SUPERBA MODEL: KEGC507HWH2 Infinite switch would work only sometimes sometimes the burner would not shut off at all you could tell when turning the dial it did not seem right The new switch was a little different than the old one. Following the instructions made it easy on which wire when where. First unplugged the oven then I took out the long light bulb on the very top then took out the 2 screws under the bulb. Second take out one screw on the top left side. Next pull the control panel up and out, laying it on the stove top. I took a picture of the wiring of the back of the switch just in case I needed to refer back to it. Moved each wire to the new switch using the instructions. Then pulled the knob off the front and took out the 2 screws holding the old switch and attached the new one. Put the rest back together and that's it. Works great! Francis V Shelton , CT April 04, 2015 Appliance: KitchenAid Electric Range KERC507HBT0 I had a dead front dual burner on our kitchen aid range no error code I replaced the controller. I had a heck of a time figuring out how to get to it. The video on the website showed access to the control via the rear panel. On the Kitchen Aid we have, the back panel is part of the range's main frame and does not come off. Turns out, 2 screws behind the fluorescent lamp had to be removed and the entire control panel housing lifts up and can be tilted forward. (I needed to clean behind the range anyway, so it was no big deal)!! The replacement part instructions were spot on and the new control works perfectly.
