Description

This dispenser user interface assembly is the touch-control module at the door dispenser that lets you select water, cubed/crushed ice, light, and lock. Replacing a failed UI restores proper button response and indicator display.

• Accepts touch/button inputs for water, ice type, light, and lock
• Sends commands to the main control to operate dispenser functions
• Drives the dispenser's status indicators/LEDs
• Common symptoms: buttons unresponsive or intermittent, can't change cubed/crushed, lock won't toggle, indicator lights out or erratic

• Disconnect power to the refrigerator before servicing
• Remove dispenser trim/escutcheon to access the UI; note screw/tab locations
• Disconnect wire harnesses and release retaining tabs; use ESD precautions when handling the board
• Reconnect harnesses fully and secure the assembly; transfer any reusable overlay/trim from the original if your model uses one, then restore power and test
