Cheryl T Chino Hills , CA January 28, 2017 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer WFW8300SW01 Whirlpool duet showing an f20 code The F20 code was low/no water pressure code. I watched a YouTube video and purchased a Water Inlet Valve from Appliance Pros. After my son installed the new part my washer still didn't work. I looked on Google for trouble shooting and the 1st thing it said was turn on both hot/cold water as the washer needs the pressure of the hot/cold water. I had turned off the hot valve because it was leaking. I assumed I could still do cold water loads. Dallas R Wentzville , MO April 18, 2017 Our washer was getting an error code due to a lack of water pressure. I researched my problem online and in a matter of minutes I was able to diagnose several possible causes. Rather than replace a perfectly good machine I decided to repair it following the information I found. I replaced the water lines hot and cold. The water inlet valve, and the inlet flowmeter. No more error code and the washer is now running fine. Best money I ever spent. No reason to toss household appliances, when you can fix them in minutes. Michael D Boca Raton , FL January 16, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer WFW8400TW03 Not enough water filling the front load duet Searched on Google for the error code as the front load washer would always stop mid cycle with an error code. I bought the Whirlpool Duets used. The forums said plain and simple that the water inlet valve only lasts so long and the rubber washers begin to swell and water flow becomes restricted. In South Florida the water is on the hard side and even the rubber washers in the toilet ballcock need replacing once a year. I found the best price for the valve was at Appliance Parts Pro. Their web site said usually a day and a half or two days to arrive. I didn't believe that statement as their popular competitor always takes 7-10 days to arrive. But, a day and a half later the part arrived. I immediately installed it in 15 minutes and when I started a new wash cycle, you could hear the water filling was very loud. The washer works great and is very fast now. If you have a problem with hard water and error codes indicating not enough water, this is your problem. Thank you Appliance Parts Pro.
