Tom L Frisco , TX September 04, 2015 Appliance: KitchenAid 42" Built In Refrigerator KSSC42QKS02 Water dispenser leaking We have a built-in KitchenAid KSSC42QKS02. Unlike the other Kitchenaid or Whirlpool refrigerators, our valve is located at the bottom and towards the front of the refrigerator. I actually preferred it to be located at the back like the others. It would've been easier to get to. We had to lower the fridge turning the screws(front of the lower panel), so it would sit on the rollers. Then we just simply roll the fridge out, turn off the supply valve, and install the newly bought valve inlet. It was a simple process, all except having to work under the fridge in a tight spot. As it turned out, the valve took care of the leak and everything went well! Bradley F Burr Ridge , IL May 01, 2017 Appliance: KitchenAid 42" Built In Refrigerator KSSO42QMX02 The inlet valved broke while i was moving the fridge The part was a perfect fit. The change out was super easy and the online video was very helpful. The only complicated part of the install was that I had to lean my 48 inch wide fridge onto it's side so I could get to the part on the bottom of the fridge. It's a huge fridge so that took some planning and muscle with my son. It only took about 10 minutes to change the part out. We let the fridge sit for 24 hours after we tipped it back down in place to make sure the compressor didn't have any problems.
