Bernard Gutnick G Santa Clara , CA October 05, 2015 Installed used oven in property it now looks brand new! The metal insulation strip is held to the frame with built-in clip, and this retainer and screw. I decided to replace the whole thing. It now looks brand new. One trick - buy a ratchet set to remove the screw which is in pretty tight, or remove the door. The ratchet method works. Put a drop of oil on the new screw. The end result: I purchased a used 24" KitchenAid double oven for $200 which sells for $1800 new. After spending $200 on parts (trim pieces were missing), it now looks absolutely brand new. The bottom oven doesnt look like it was used once. Good way to save money. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Pliers, Wrench Set
