Bernard Gutnick G Santa Clara , CA October 05, 2015 Installed used oven in property it now looks brand new! The metal insulation strip is held to the frame with built-in clip, and this retainer and screw. I decided to replace the whole thing. It now looks brand new. One trick - buy a ratchet set to remove the screw which is in pretty tight, or remove the door. The ratchet method works. Put a drop of oil on the new screw. The end result: I purchased a used 24" KitchenAid double oven for $200 which sells for $1800 new. After spending $200 on parts (trim pieces were missing), it now looks absolutely brand new. The bottom oven doesnt look like it was used once. Good way to save money. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
