The only hard part of changing the valve was removing the hoses which are over 10 years old.They were realy stuck.But by carefuly twisting back and forth with a pair of pliars they came off. It came in less than 2 days. I took the top off the washer and the valve was right there at the top of the washer. Bing Bang Boom. For several years the softener dispenser was not get waster to it and I was having to try to remember to go down and put the softener In at the rinse cycle. Replacing the inlet valve fix that also.
