This genuine OEM replacement nut-hex center is used on lawnmowers, wood chippers, snowblowers, chainsaws, tillers, edgers, and log splitters. Hex is short for hexagon, which means this nut has 6 sides. This hex center locking nut is one piece and made of all metal. As the nut is made from metal, it is not compromised due to high temperatures. The purpose of this center locking nut is for fastening to a hex cap screw, socket cap screw, or bolt. Given that these center nuts will stay put without being seated, they are ideal to be used as stop nuts or spacers for rotating or other components. These nut hex centers contain internal threads and are driven with a wrench. These center nuts are reusable for a limited number of times, as the torque declines after each use. The user will want to ensure the threads of the nut are not compromised before using. It is recommended to use a new nut over a used one. This replacement nut is compatible with Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Ryobi, Yard Machines, MTD, Husky, Yard-Man, and MasterCut devices. This Nut-Hex Center is sourced directly from the manufacturer and is sold individually.

The hex lock nut is found on many different types of outdoor lawn equipment, as well as other types of equipment. The lock nut works to secure bolted joints by adding friction to the bolt threads. The nut has flat sides, which can easily be gripped by a wrench to be tightened or loosened as needed. These types of nuts are common, as they provide easy assembly and disassembly of various parts. Buyers may need a new hex lock nut for a range of reasons. The nut that is currently on the equipment could have become damaged or lost while working on the machine. It is vital for all of the nuts to be in place and properly secured on the equipment before use. This is an authentic OEM part. Some of the products that use hex lock nuts include lawn mowers, snowblowers, tillers, edgers, string trimmers, and log splitters. Common equipment brands using these nuts include Craftsman, Toro, Cub Cadet, Yard Machines, and Troy-Bilt.

Click pins are used in various lawn equipment machines to hold the wheels on. For larger riding lawn mowers, click pins are only used on the smaller front wheels. Start by pulling out the old click pin from its location with the pliers. Insert the new click pin back into the hole located in the spindle. This click pin is a genuine OEM replacement part. It is made with durable, high-quality metal. It is supplied by the manufacturer. It is compatible with both MTD and Murray brands. Cotter pins are simple but very effective fasteners used primarily to hold wheels in place on mowers. This is particularly true of the front wheels on riding mowers. Cotter pins are very light and can become overly pliable after extensive use. In some cases, the front wheels of a mower, which are the guide wheels that steer the device, become difficult to manage. The cure for this situation is often simply the replacement of the cotter pins that are not holding the guide wheels adequately in place. Before attempting to remove the pins, it is essential that the spark plug boot is moved so that the mower cannot be started. This is an important safety step because the repairer will be getting under the mower near the blades. The back wheels should be blocked so the mower cannot move, then the front end placed up on blocks. Remove the mower's hubcaps to gain access to the axle spindles. Straighten the legs of the pin so that when the curved portion of the cotter pin is grasped with pliers and it can be pulled straight back and be removed. The spindle, washers, and wheels should be checked for wear before the new pin is placed and secured. This OEM cotter pin is compatible with Bolens, Yard-Man, Craftsman, Yard Machines, Cub Cadet, Turf King, Troy-Bilt, Huskee, Toro, Ryobi, MTD, MasterCut, Murray, and Montgomery Wards.

The roll pin, also called a shear pin, is a slender metal piece that fastens the driveshaft to the auger of a snowblower. This pin actually does double duty as a safety device. When moving through the snow-covered ground where objects cannot be seen, sometimes the snow-moving auger will come into contact with something other than snow. Since the driveshaft of the blower will continue to turn regardless of the mobility of the auger, the auger would be destroyed or significantly damaged upon encountering such an object. The roll pin is designed to shear off when the auger suddenly stops so the working parts of the blower are not damaged. Most blowers are designed so that the pins are easily accessible. By rolling the blower so the belly plate is up, it is easy to remove the belly plate and see where the shear pin goes through the driveshaft and connects with the auger. The broken piece of the old pin can be forced through by the new pin by gently tapping it with a hammer. This OEM genuine replacement part is compatible with a number of snowblowers, including Craftsman, Troy-Bilt, MTD, Yard Machines, and Yard-Man.
