A carburetor gasket is a thin rubber material that provides a seal between two parts. Its primary purpose is to prevent fuel and air leaks. This gasket is installed between the air cleaner and the carburetor. Over time, it can crack and tear due to heat and fuel exposure. When this happens, the carburetor may produce the wrong combustible mixture for the engine. In return, the engine may experience rough idling and flooding. These O rings are replacement parts intended for use in a number of gasoline-powered lawn trimmers. The O rings serve as gaskets and are placed at the entry and exit points in the carburetors where gasoline and air are mixed and the expansion powers the trimmer.
