I have installed the heating element #8544771 on Kenmore Oasis dryer. I just have to connect the 2 wires (red/white stripe and red) and cannot remember which one goes where? Red to top terminal? Or red/white stripe to top terminal? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have a maytag dryer that spins, but does not heat at all. I am assuming that the issue is the heating element. Is there anything else that it could be? The dryer is 3-5 years old.

How do I get to the heating element for a Kenmore Elite Oasis Dryer, back or front panel? If it's from a front, how do I remove the front panel?

Our Maytag Epic Z electric dryer stopped working after a lot of towels/blankets/multiple washes. I'm pretty sure it got too hot. We disconnected the vent and thoroughly cleaned it out all the way. Had the thermal fuse checked, and it was o.k. Replaced the main control board, and now dryer runs, but no heat! Help!
