This float switch monitors the water level inside the dishwasher tub. When the water rises to the correct level, the float activates the switch to stop the fill valve from adding more water. Replace this switch if your dishwasher is overfilling, not filling at all, or if water is leaking onto the floor due to uncontrolled water intake.
