This is a small fiber washer that fits on the drum support roller shaft inside the dryer. It acts as a spacer and bearing surface to reduce friction and keep the drum roller properly positioned. Replace this washer if the dryer makes squealing, thumping, or scraping noises during operation, or if the drum rollers appear to wobble or wear unevenly.
