This rotary on/off switch controls the dryer's Finish Guard (also called Wrinkle Guard/Wrinkle Shield) feature. Replacing it restores proper control of the post-cycle intermittent tumbling that helps reduce wrinkles, preventing the feature from being stuck on or off.

• Provides 2-position on/off selection for the Finish Guard/Wrinkle Guard function
• Failure can cause the feature not to engage or to stay on after the cycle ends
• Knob may feel loose or fail to click when the switch is worn
• Mounts in the control console and interfaces with the external selector knob

• Disconnect power before servicing
• Access through the control console; remove paneling as needed
• Transfer wires one at a time or photograph connections for reference
• Reinstall using the existing knob and mounting hardware
