Bern for Model Number Bosch SHX46A05 UC/26 We have been getting a leak from what appears to be the joint where the circulation pump body and the lower part of the pump housing lock together. I replaced the impeller and seals (using part #167085) but now the leak is worse. Still looks like it is coming from the same spot although it is hard to tell. Could this be an indication that the pump itself is bad (although with new seals I don't know why it would LEAK -- just wouldn't work) or is it more likely that my installation of the impeller and seals was done incorrectly? The water is NOT leaking from where the pump connects to the heating element or the sump.
Answer Hello Bern, This sounds like the seals are not seating. I would try dis-assembly again and try to make sure the seals are positioned correctly. If they still do not seat, replace the pump. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, April 6, 2015
