Groniff for Model Number Bosch SHE58C06UC/50

Bosch SHE58C06UC/50 dishwasher running trouble-free for 7 years until today. Please confirm my diagnosis: Noise (grinding or droning) starts approximately 65 seconds after start of a short wash cycle (nominally 30 min cycle), or up to 90 seconds after the start of a long wash cycle (nominally 90 min) and continues until I turn off the machine by opening the door for fear of doing damage.. With the bottom access panel removed, when I start a cycle, I can feel hot water passing through the water inlet right-angle elbow, so I am sure that the inlet valve is working. Then the noise starts after the water begins to fill the interior. The noise is coming from the right side. If I then open the door, I can see some water (not much) accumulated in the sump. When I then close the door and push two buttons simultaneously ("Auto Wash" & "Delicate/Econo") to drain the sump, the sump pump appears to do its job, because I can hear the water entering the disposal and I hear a pump activated. If the problem is the circulation pump, what gaskets or other components should I also replace (7 year old machine) as long as I am going to do this extensive repair? Thanks for your help.

Answer

Groniff, The circulation pump will have the seals with it and would be no other parts needed. You will also want to check to make sure that there is nothing caught in the impeller that would cause this issue.
