Reggie for Model Number SHE46C06UC/40 Our Bosch dishwasher has worked well for years. I replaced the heating relay a couple years ago as the water wasn't being heated. This week, I discovered that water was entering and seems to be plenty for washing, The water is being heated and the timed cycle counts down until the drain pump operates at the normal end of cycle, but there is no circulating pump activity and the unit is plenty warm inside at the end. Ran diagnostics and it shows E1 which is a heating problem. I've tried adding additional water but it's already up to the bottom of the door/seal so I'm sure it's full. Can replacement of the circulating pump take care of the E1 diagnostic code? Seems counter-intuitive but I'll do whatever it takes.
Answer Reggie, For this issue you will want to check to make sure that there is 120 vac getting to the circulation pump. If there is power then the circulation pump will be the issue. If there is no power then check the wiring between the pump and the main board and the heater assembly. If the wiring checks ok then this will be a faulty control module. Read More...
