Made by Bosch. Common program control module for Bosch dishwashers SHU53/68. NOTE The manufacturer has redesigned the cover and indicator lights. Lights may be covered by the plastic case. You may have to remove the square covers over the indicator lights if needed. The same case is used for 6 and 8 indicator light models. They also no longer use the red bulb indicator lights, small surface mounted lights are used instead. If you require the Jumper Wire that goes with certain models, the part number is 00167782.

Joe for Model Number SHX68r52 bosch dishwasher

When I turn it on it drains tub then fills tub normally, after one minute it goes into wash cycle however nothing happens no water is spraying. Counts down the cycle normally, and finishes normally. All wash options work normally except no water spraying. Repair man says it needs a new circulation pump. My Bosch dishwasher is 4.5 years old, how do I know it is not the control board? Is there a way to test the circulation pump before I buy a new one?

Answer

Hello Joe, These can be tested by removing the kick panel and (in some cases) removing the door panel (for room to access the motor assembly). There is an extra piece of metal across the top of the access panel which is held on by two screws. This makes accessing the motor easy. Make sure the test meter is set to ac voltage and not resistance, then start the unit with the test leads in the wire connectors. If you see 120Vac at the motor terminals and the motor doesn't run, the motor i bad. If you never get the 10Vac at the motor, the harness or the board are at fault.
