Virginia Country Man for Model Number SHX55R52UC/64 I may have a few separate issues or it may be one item that is manifesting itself as several symptoms. My DW is not draining. I don't know how many gallons one wash cycle uses but at the end of a cycle I am able to bail out 1.5 gallons of water from the bottom. If I don't do this between loads then the water floods out onto the floor through the door seal. The wash cycle also appears to be taking considerably longer than normal. The digital display on the control panel that is on the top edge of the door goes blank once I push the door shut. The red LED light still comes on and shines on the floor but the cycle countdown disappears. I am not sure if it is supposed to or not. Here is what I have tried so far (thanks to YouTube) I cleaned out the filters and all of the drain tubes and I have replaced the check valve and the drain pump. Any advice you have would be appreciated.
Answer Virginia, Based on the information, this will most likely be caused by a faulty control unit. Since the draining issue is not being caused by a drain pump, as this has been replaced. and with other issues the unit is having to replace the control unit should correct all issues. Read More...
