Shannon for Model Number SHV66A03UC/23 The detergent lid remains closed during approx 50% of cycles and the soap is still in it at the end. Why is it not opening? Do I just need to replace the lid or the entire assembly unit?
Answer Hi Shannon. The detergent lid opens with a series of control board sending the proper timed voltage to the wax motor to open the lid. From there the wax motor has to heat up and contact mechanisms to slide and release springs and plungers. It is hard to tell on an individual basis what is exactly wrong with your unit unless examined. Another scenario can be that there may be either detergent or liquid rinse aid leaked and jamming the efforts on the back side warranting total replacement of part # 00263088. Thank You. Read More...
