Bruce M. for Model Number Thermador PC30 Range Top I need to replace a damaged ceramic igniter. I have the part, but don't want to damage the unit while replacing it. I haven't been able to find a service manual. Thanks.
Answer Hello Bruce. You will need to disassemble the star burners, by removing the venturi from the center of the burners. Once the venturi are removed, you will remove the burners and lift the top to access the igniter 00189324. Unplug the igniter wire from the igniter that you wish to replace. Then unsnap the e-ring from the grove in the igniter body and remove the igniter from the cooktop. Install new igniter and reassemble the cooktop. Hope this helps. Read More...
