Norman for Model Number Thermador SGC304RS All 4 igniters stopped working at the same time; there is no clicking sound on any of them. There is gas; I can light the burners with a match. There is electricity; a lamp plugged into the cooktop outlet works. How do I fix the cooktop? Thanks!
Answer Norman, You'll need to raise the cooktop and check the wiring from the valve switches to the spark module, then from the spark module to the igniters. If there are no damaged wires, then you'd need to suspect the spark module 00753257 / 00753257 has failed. Here's some help " Turn off the gas supply and the electrical power going to the cooktop. 2. Remove the grates and burner caps from the cooktop. 3. Remove the knobs from the controls. 4. Using a 25 I 32" (20 mm) socket, unscrew and remove the venturi from each of the burner bases, then lift the burner bases and rubber o rings from the maintop. Carefully lift the front of the maintop several inches and prop it up with a board or a hammer handle." Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, April 24, 2017
