Suzanne R. for Model Number Thermador CD365US cooktop I have replaced the ignition plug assembly - PN 189324, but have not been able to secure it tightly to the burner grate holder flange. It works fine, but I am concerned about it being loose enough for spills to get underneath and short out the igniter wires. How does this tighten to the plate?
Answer Hello Suzanne, The ignitor mounts using the Mounting Ring Clip 189322 00189322. If yours isn't mounting tightly, the clip is most likely warped from all of the temperature changes it has been through.
