Tom for Model Number SHU9925UC/U12 FD8007 Door is leaking water at both sides of bottom. Would like to know how to install the seal PN AP2802338 and if I also need to replace the top and side seals.
Answer Hello Tom, This sounds more like an overfill situation since the bottom of the door is an air gap used as an air inlet for the dry cycle. The water, when filled to the proper level should not completely submerge the heating element. If it is filling to a higher level, the water inlet valve 00425458 should be replaced. I would check the spray arms 00359976, 00359975 for separations where the two halves are "melted" together at the factory.
