Jacob for Model Number SHS5AVF2UC/22 The water is not draining out of the unit and the sanitation light blinks. After I cleaned out the bottom filter, I also verified the entire passage for the drain tube was clear by back flushing. While the tube was disconnected, I also verified proper operation of the drain hose check valve. All of this was okay, so I replaced the drain pump, but that was not the issue. My question is could a faulty turbidity sensor cause this? If not, is the only thing left the control board?
Answer Jacob, The turbidity sensor will cause a no-drain issue. You will want to test to see if there is 120 Vac getting to the drain pump when the dishwasher should be draining. If there is not 120 Vac then check the wiring between the pump and the control board and if the wiring is good then replace the control board. Read More...
