Bruce for Model Number SHU5302UC On/off switch was sticking. Finally got it to turn on and half way through the cycle the display went blank. Cycle finished but dishwasher will not turn on any more and there is still no display. Is it the switch or the board causing the problem?
Answer Hi Bruce. The door switch part # 00165242 will control the power to the board when the switch is closed. It sounds like you have 2 - problems including the control board. Control module - Made by Bosch. Common program control module for Bosch dishwashers SHU53/68. NOTE The manufacturer has redesigned the cover and indicator lights. Lights may be covered by the plastic case. You may have to remove the square covers over the indicator lights if needed. The same case is used for 6 and 8 indicator light models.
