C400 for Model Number CVS45RS The up/down switch had smoke coming out so I assume it is short in the switch. Unfortunately in order to remove the switch, you have to raise the snorkel to be able to work on it. The unit cannot be raised beyond 4-5 inches and it seems there is a locking mechanism in place, is there a way to raise the unit manually so that the snorkel can be accessed and switch be replaced? All guides assume that the unit is raised. What part # is the speed control knob, might was well replace that too when the up/down switch is being swapped.
