Rich for Model Number SHE55M16UC/64 Not getting water during cycle so I'm thinking it's the water inlet valve. Only thing is the unit doesn't stop running when the door is opened nor when I cancel the cycle and the timer goes to zero. It stops when I push the on/off button again. Would a bad valve cause all of this?
Answer Rich, you may have more than one issue. First, remove the kickplate and lower access panel and check for water or moisture in the base of the dishwasher, then check the float, float lever 00263123, and float shaft 00263122 and make sure the lever and shaft aren't stuck or damaged and there's no water in the base. Then remove the dishwasher and check the wiring and condition of the float assembly 00440670, if any one of these components is faulty, this will cause the drain pump to run constantly as long as the machine is "on" " the unit doesn't stop running when the door is opened nor when I cancel the cycle and the timer goes to zero". Then check or replace the water inlet valve if needed. Thanks, Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, December 7, 2020
