Nechama, This hinge kit goes in the door of the unit so you will need to open the door all the way and there is a swivel on the hinge that you will need to latch. Once latched close the door till it stops and then push up and lift off the oven. The install of the door back on is in reverse. Once the door is off you will remove the outer door panel and then remove the hinges and install the new ones.
