Elizabeth I have Dacor double convection ovens. One of the ovens. the top one, therefore the most used, will not heat very fast unless we put it on the roast setting. Thus we use Roast to pre-heat and then switch to the other modes once it is pre-heated, with no ill effects. The other modes seem to function, it is just that it takes hours for the oven to heat on other settings. This mystifies me. LOVE these ovens, but the repair man said it would be over $500 to repair. What is wrong with the oven and why so costly?
