Bobber for Model Number PLCS389ECE All functions, when applied, appear normal on the display panel, but neither the oven element nor the broiler element heat up. The display indicates the oven element should be heating, then a very audible "click" and the display indicates the broiler element should be heating. Approx. five seconds later, an audible "click' and the display indicates the oven burner is now heating - it's not. Nothing heats in any mode. I suspect the control module 316418731 is bad. Any other suggestions? Worked fine at dinner last night!
Answer Bobber, There are thermal fuses that you will want to check to make sure that they have continuity. They are located on the back of the unit. If there is no continuity then they are bad and would need replaced. If they check ok then the issue would be the control board. Read More...
