I ordered part 318414214 from you a little over a year ago and as of today there has been a short in the EOC. After removing it from the stove, apparantly a resistor had burned up. Is there a problem with this part in general before I reorder another to replace this one?

Hello Steven, Normally is a resistor has burned, the receptacle, power supply cord, and terminal block should be checked for loose connections. If a problem existed with the part, the manufacturer would have already corrected the issue since there are so many in the field.
