Kurt for Model Number GLTF2940FS1 The washer wouldn't start. It gave error code "dr" and E41. I opened it up and cleaned out all the gunk from the water pump. I no longer get that error code. Now the panel does weird things. Sometimes, regardless of what button you push, every button seems to control the temperature setting. After unplugging a few times and getting it to start, it runs for a few seconds then I get "err", it stops, I get three beeps, then repeats that cycle until the time runs out. Is it just the control board?
Answer Kurt, The ERR is an indication that there is an error that has been detected. You will want to get the tech sheet from inside the unit and put the unit into a diagnostic test and check for error codes. It could be a different error than the ones that you have had previously and could be the control board that is the issue. You will want to check the codes which will tell you what it may be.
