Richard R for Model Number Frigidaire LTF2940ES0 I have run diagnostics and come up with error code e5e. The machine runs for about 2 seconds in each diagnostic mode and then shows the above error code. The washer won't work but the timer will count down in a wash cycle, but not accurately (very slow), and stops at one minute and won't unlock the door until you hit pause/cancel. Is this the control board or the motor (speed) control board or both?
Answer Richard, You will want to check the wiring from the main control board to the speed control board. If you find a wiring problem then it needs to be repaired.
