Scott for Model Number LGHB2869TF5 So I installed this part in my refrigerator and immediately everything beeped and I had power on my front panel. As I was screwing it back in I lost power. I checked and rechecked the connections several times and nothing seemed wrong. I could then start to smell something burning. Did I just fry my front panel?

If there is no obvious damage to the wiring behind the control panel or to the module that was replaced, I would suspect that the wiring built into the door 807460060 has been damaged and the door will need to be replaced.
