Linda W. for Model Number FRS26H7CWO All of a sudden, my ice maker does not do anything. No water, no noise, no fill, no empty. It gets water to the water dispenser in the door, but ice maker does nothing, is there a fuse just for ice maker?
Answer Hello Linda, Reach inside the freezer and grasp the harvest rake that drags the cubes out. Turn the fingers clockwise a couple of inches while holding in the freezer door switch. If it slowly rotates around and fills with water, the ice maker is in need of replacement. If it still does nothing, try wiggling the connector where the ice maker plugs in at the back. Remember that many wiring configurations does not allow the ice maker to cycle if the door is open. This is the reason you are holding the door switch in. The door switch could also be the issue. Try this and let us know if you require further assistance. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 9, 2012
