Robert C. for Model Number FRS23H5ASB8 My ice machine(5304458371)has stoped producing ice. I have changed the water filter and water valve, but it is still not making ice. I hear the water value trying to work, but still no ice. Water filter and value are both new at a cost of $130. I hate to just change parts and not get to the source of the problem. Help.
Answer Hello Robert. If you hear the valve coming on, but no water is being produced, you will need to check and make sure the water supply is turned on. If so, check the fill tube inside the freezer and make sure it is not frozen. If it is frozen, you will need to thaw it out. Hope this helps. Read More...
