Ed Morris for Model Number Kenmore Elec/Range 790.9417 My oven lite will not work change the bulb,That did not help. turn the button for the lite on the control panel then opened the oven door pushed the toggle switch in and out and heard clicking sounds? I have no idea what Wrong and how to address this problem !
Answer Ed, You will want to access the back of the light socket and test to see if there is 120 vac getting to the light socket. If it is then try to tighten the bulb a little more and if this does not work then replace the socket. If there is no power then the control board would be the issue. Read More...
