Wnc_Riverrat for Model Number FWT645RHS0 I have a Frigidaire front loader model FWT645RHs0 that does not spin or agitate. The shocks and one suspension spring had broke which I replaced. When I plugged it back in it will fill with water but not agitate the tub or spin. There is a slight hum but nothing happens. The timer knob does not advance. If I rotate the control knob to a point where the drain pump turns on it will drain but the pump does not seem to turn off. Investigation: I found what looked like the ground wire for the motor off. (Connects to the bracket rather than being part of the bundle going in the motor.) I reconnected the wire but no change in behavior. The voltage on the 5 & 6 pins on the 6 pin plug are good. The voltage between the 5 pin of the 6 pin plug and the 2, 6 & 10 pins on the 10 pin plug are good. The voltage between the 5 pin of the 6 pin plug and the 1 pin on the 10 pin plug should be 0 but is 30. Is the time bad? How do I check? What are the other things I should check?
Answer Hello Wnc_riverrat. If the voltage is good the timer is good. This would lead to the motor being bad and needing to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, January 16, 2014
