Ernest for Model Number kenmore stackable The lid lock wires shorted out and flashed right by the assembly. The machine would do nothing. I spliced the wires back together and the machine runs but seems like it's out of sink. If I pull the knob out to start the cycle, the machine starts agitating and filling at the same time and runs right past the end of the cycle into extra rinse. Is this going to be the timer or maybe just the lid lock assembly?
Answer Hello Ernest, You will most likely need to pull the tech sheet from the machine to determine the cause of the issue. Many units have a control board that will hold a fault code which will point you in the right direction. If there is no electronic control board on your machine, you will need to troubleshoot the unit using the wiring diagram to pinpoint the issue. For a more detailed diagnosis, we would need to ask you to please post a new question that includes the model number from your units' I.D. tag. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, February 7, 2017
